The new management structure of Autopromotec, the international biennial exhibition of automotive equipment and aftermarket products, was ratified today, with Dr Enrica Lazzarini taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer, supported by Dr Guido Gambassi as Chief Strategy Officer.
The strategy adopted by the Board of Directors was to maintain continuity in the company’s management, promoting existing figures who are respected and well-established within the sector.
In the new organisational chart, as early as 5 March 2026, Dr Lazzarini was appointed Secretary General of AICA – Associazione Italiana Costruttori Autoattrezzature (Italian Association of Automotive Equipment Manufacturers) – which, together with AIRP – Associazione Italiana Ricostruttori Pneumatici (Italian Association of Tyre Retreaders), owns the Autopromotec trade fair, the next edition of which is scheduled from 26 to 29 May 2027 at the BolognaFiere exhibition centre.
“I welcome this new challenge with great enthusiasm and am honoured by the trust placed in me. Coordinating the next edition of Autopromotec will undoubtedly be stimulating, and I am certain that with the support of this team, which has been well-established for years, we will organise an event that lives up to the expectations of our exhibitors and visitors. The automotive sector is today increasingly characterised by structural and extremely dynamic innovations, which require the ability to react and analyse. Changes are happening so rapidly that it is now essential and fundamental to see and experience all the innovations first-hand, an opportunity that arises exclusively at events such as those made possible by Autopromotec”.
Dr Gambassi, meanwhile, adds the role of CSO to the positions he has held in previous years, namely those of CEO of EditProm, the publishing company that owns the magazine Pneurama, Secretary General of AIRP and Federpneus – Associazione Nazionale Rivenditori Specialisti di Pneumatici (National Association of Specialist Tyre Retailers), whose training workshop is based at the Casa Autopromotec headquarters.

The new appointments have been fully endorsed by the former Secretary General of AICA, and outgoing CEO, Renzo Servadei, who, having decided not to continue in his roles for personal reasons, has offered his support for the next edition, to ensure that the handover maintains strategic organisational continuity across all the entities that constitute and guarantee the realisation of the trade fair.

The new roles will take effect from May 2026.
