CIVA ACQUIRES 32 MARCOPOLO AND VOLARE VEHICLES
Mixed fleet will consist of Paradiso New G7 1800 DD and 1050 models, and Senior Executive and Volare minibuses
Caxias do Sul (RS) – November 30, 2020 – Grupo CIVA, one of the main passenger transport operators in Peru, has added 32 new Marcopolo and Volare vehicles to its fleet. The new vehicles will be used to transport employees of the company Mineira Chinalco, in the Toromocho operation.
“CIVA is a traditional customer and has a predominantly fleet of Marcopolo models. This new supply is very important because it serves the operator’s main passenger transport segment, focused on vehicles with a high standard of comfort and safety concepts”, highlights Uilian Klipper Rosseti, commercial operations consultant responsible for the Peruvian market.
Of the 32 vehicles, 17 are of the Paradiso New G7 1800 DD model, five of the Paradiso New G7 1050, five of the Senior Executive minibus and five other units of the Volare Attack 8 4×4.
The 17 Paradiso New G7 1800 DD buses are equipped with Marcopolo BioSafe solutions, such as an air conditioning system with UV-C, alcohol gel dispenser at the entrance and on the upper floor, hand grips with antimicrobial additives and antimicrobial curtains between the seats. The vehicles also have as a differential seats with a retractable three-point seat belt equipped with sensors to indicate when not buckled.
The five Paradiso New G7 1050 from CIVA, also with BioSafe solutions, were developed with the structural concept that meets the R66.02 standard and retractable step. The vehicles are equipped with an air conditioning system with UV-C, an alcohol gel dispenser at the entrance, hand grips with antimicrobial additives and antimicrobial curtains between the seats and forced heating by convectors. With 49 executive seats with three-point retractable seat belt and sensors to indicate when not buckled.
The five Senior Executive minibuses have the same characteristics and BioSafe solutions, with an air conditioning system with UV-C, alcohol gel dispenser at the entrance, hand grips with antimicrobial additives and antimicrobial curtains between the seats. With 28 reclining seats, also of the Executive model with three-point retractable seat belt and sensors to indicate when not buckled, they are equipped with a convection forced heating system, instant speed indicator panel, two monitors and DVD and executive package holder with protective net, in addition to an expanded luggage rack.
Differentiated 4×4 vehicles
In addition to the Marcopolo models, CIVA purchased five Volare Attack 8 4×4 minibuses, also with BioSafe solutions, such as an air conditioning system with UV-C, alcohol gel dispenser at the entrance and on the upper floor, hand grips with additives antimicrobials and antimicrobial curtains between the seats. Vehicles, suitable for traffic in difficult to access and unpaved places, are an ideal option for charter service in places without paved roads or difficult to access.
The units have capacity for 19 passengers and differentials, as a structural concept that meets the R66.02 standard, 4×4 traction system, stainless steel side skirt structure, headlight and signal protection, batteries moved to the luggage rack, avoiding risk short-circuit.
