Leading Russian OEM KAMAZ and the organizers of COMTRANS go ahead together for the 2021 edition of the trade show
The organizers of COMTRANS 2021 – ITEMF Expo and the Association of Russian Automakers (OAR), prepare with full speed for the next edition of the largest and the most attended commercial vehicle event in Russian and Eastern Europe.
In the last 20 years, COMTRANS provides the major platform for the demonstration of new models of trucks, trailers, buses, and LCVs.
Every two years 20 000 freight forwarders, other commercial fleet owners and operators, dealers, aftermarket service providers, professional drivers, media, and other stakeholders of the automotive and transport industries – come to COMTRANS to source their businesses with new vehicles, find new suppliers and partners, listen to and network with industry experts at the COMTRANS Arena.
Executive Director of OAR Igor Korovkin:
“The pandemic has seriously intervened the trade show calendar in 2020 – many events have been postponed. However, we believe that B2B exhibitions continue to play a major role in developing international and regional trade.
This is fully related to the automotive industry. Trade shows help exhibitors to understand the competitiveness of their new vehicles, engineering innovations, service features including solutions for fleet ownership, digital control, and management efficiency.
The COVID pandemic will end sooner or later, and it is time for all players of the Russian commercial vehicle market players to go ahead and actively prepare for the 2021 edition of COMTRANS – including OEMs, dealers, parts and components providers, buyers, regulators, associations, media, and other industry stakeholders. With all current challenges, Russia remains one the largest market in the world and attracts most domestic and international manufacturers.
COMTRANS traditionally is the major platform for promoting new trucks and LCVs, it helps the OAR members to develop the demand for their vehicles. The leading Russian OEM KAMAZ goes full speed and prepares for the trade show, and we expect other members of OAR will join them very soon.”
General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin:
“KAMAZ traditionally exhibits at COMTRANS at a full-scale. For us it is the major industry event where we can demonstrate our new vehicles to large corporate fleet owners and dealers, meet individually not only with existing but with a lot of new potential clients. Being the market leader, we understand the importance of direct professional feedback about our products from the owners and drivers – including both those who drive KAMAZ and other brands. Also, COMTRANS gives us an outstanding platform for intense communication with general and industry media, the Government, and regulatory organizations. The visitors always pay high attention to our brand and we are very pleased with that. All this explains why we are actively preparing for COMTRANS 2021.”
