MARCOPOLO EXPORTS PARADISO 1200 COACHES TO KUWAIT
Five units destined for the Al Qurain Automotive Trading Company
Marcopolo began 2025 with its first export to the Middle East, an important market for the brand’s models and one where it maintains a prominent position. The five Paradiso G7 1200 coaches will be used by the Al Qurain Automotive Trading Company, one of the country’s most important automotive companies, representing several global car, truck and bus brands.
“We are expanding our operations in various international markets to increase our global presence. The Middle East is a traditional region for exporting our products, and we are focused on strengthening ties with current customers, such as Al Qurain, as well as developing new partnerships,” says Angelo Oselame, Marcopolo’s commercial manager for the foreign market.
The five Paradiso G7 1200 buses have Volvo B11R chassis and are 12,500mm long, with capacity for 51 seated passengers, plus guide and driver, in G8 Executive seats, with cup holders and magazine holders. The vehicles are equipped with high-powered air-conditioning systems for high temperatures and heating, an audio and video system with three DVD monitors and monitoring cameras. The units also have a total separation wall, curtains, a front electronic itinerary, a luggage rack and a 53-liter refrigerator.
The Al Qurain Automotive Trading Company group, founded in 1984, represents major global brands. A Marcopolo client since the 1980s and a pioneer in the Middle East region, the group made its last acquisition in 2018.
