VOLARE EXPANDS ITS OPERATIONS IN URUGUAY´S TOURISM SEGMENT

Vehicles were exported to important tour operators

Volare, a national leader in the production of mini buses and a brand belonging to Marcopolo, exported two Volare Fly 10 units to important tour operators in Uruguay, Bus 90 Internacional and La Flotta Turismo. The vehicles, delivered by the Marcobus dealership, are already being used in domestic, international and receptive tourism applications.

“As a country where tourism plays a large part in the economy, Uruguay has invested in more modern, comfortable and safe vehicles to raise the standard of transportation quality,” says Juliano Leoratto, commercial operations consultant for the foreign market.

Bus 90 Internacional, based in Montevideo, has been a Volare client for 15 years and purchased a Fly 10 with a capacity for 30 passengers seated in Super Soft seats with foot rests, cell phone holder and USB socket.

La Flotta Turismo, an operator in the city of Melo, in Cerro Largo, also received a Volare Fly 10 with a total length of 10,145mm and capacity for 30 passengers seated in Super Soft seats with foot rests, a cell phone holder and a USB socket.

Both vehicles are equipped with ceiling-mounted air conditioning systems, toilets, audio and video systems with Wi-Fi connection, monitors in the passenger area, LED ceiling lighting and an electronic destination sign.”

Bus 90 and La Flotta are long-standing Volare clients and have a 100% Volare fleet.
