VOLARE EXPORTS FIRST MINIBUS PRODUCED IN SÃO MATEUS

The vehicle is destined for Paraguay to the company Ciudad de Pilar S.R.L.

Marcopolo’s operation in São Mateus, Espírito Santo, gains more and more representation in the Latin America bus industry. The unit has just exported the first Volare’s brand minibus, a Fly 10 Limousine, to the company Ciudad de Pilar in Paraguay. The vehicle was delivered by Volpy, the brand’s dealership in that country.

“This export is a new milestone in the history of the São Mateus operation and demonstrates the potential of the unit to expand the business of Volare and Marcopolo not only in the supply of vehicles to the Latin America market, but also with a large share in exports,” said Vinicius Tregansin, commercial manager of the foreign market.

The Volare Fly 10 Limousine acquired by the Company Cuidad de Pilar is 10,150mm in total length and capable of transporting 31 passengers in half-sleeper seats with USB sockets and full ergonomic driver’s seat with pneumatic damping. The model has a Cummins Euro VI engine, air suspension, 6-speed transmission, electric exterior mirrors, total wall with sliding door, an 85 thousand BTU air conditioning system, restroom, refrigerator, audio and video system with three monitors, DVD, parking sensor, DRL headlights, Wi-Fi router, reverse camera, front electronic destination sign and universal accessibility device.

In 2024, 137 Volare vehicles were exported, mainly to Latin American countries such as Chile and Peru, as well as Africa and the Middle East.
