The TUYAP Exhibition Center in the historic city of Istanbul is preparing to host the 2025 edition of Automechanika Istanbul. The event, scheduled to run from June 12 to 15, 2025, is one of the most significant arms of the globally renowned Automechanika exhibition series, which takes place across 14 countries worldwide.
The previous edition in 2024 achieved record-breaking figures in terms of exhibition space, number of participating companies, and visitor turnout. These milestones underscored the exhibition’s solidified status both locally within Turkey and internationally—particularly across the Eurasian region (Eastern Europe and Western Asia) and North African countries.
The 2024 edition saw a significant leap, hosting over 1,450 companies from 35 countries, alongside 10 official national pavilions. Exhibitors covered a wide array of automotive-related industries including:
• Automotive parts and components
• Workshop equipment and service station technologies
• Petroleum products
• Car accessories and enhancements
• Electronic systems and their management
• Specialized management software and accompanying services
• Electric vehicle technologies and operating applications
• Specialized automotive media services, among others
The number of professional visitors exceeded 55,000. The event is co-organized by Messe Frankfurt and Deutsche Messe Hannover.

Emphasizing Electric Vehicles and Future Communication Technologies:
Continuing its forward-looking vision, the exhibition will dedicate a special hall to future vehicle technologies focused on sustainable mobility—highlighting alternatives to traditional fuel sources. This Future Mobility section will showcase innovations such as:
• Electric vehicles
• Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles
• Hybrid vehicles with dual energy sources
Additionally, there will be significant focus on next-generation vehicle communication systems. These include vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, which enhance safety and enable seamless integration with smart mobility applications.
This technological emphasis aligns with the goals of the Automechanika Academy, which will host a series of seminars and conferences under the theme “E-mobility and Future Technologies”. The academy’s agenda will explore innovations aimed at reducing accident rates, improving road safety for all vehicle occupants—not just the driver—and fostering environmentally friendly solutions in industrial transportation and non-traditional, clean-energy-powered mobility options.
