Busworld Europe 2025 gears up for its biggest edition yet in Brussels From 4 to 9 ctober 2025

Brussels Expo will once again host Busworld Europe, the world’s largest and most international B2B exhibition dedicated exclusively to the bus and coach industry. As the only global trade show focusing solely on buses, coaches and their entire supply chain, Busworld Europe brings together vehicle manufacturers bodybuilders, suppliers, operators, transport authorities and mobility experts from around the world. The 2023 edition welcomed over 40,000 professional visitors and expectations for 2025 are even higher.

The 2025 edition marks a significant expansion: exhibition space has grown from 75,000 to 82,000 square metres, reflecting the continued growth and dynamism of the global collective passenger transport sector. With almost 550 confirmed exhibitors the show is fully booked, underscoring Busworld’s unmatched relevance as the leading arketplace for vehicle manufacturers, system suppliers, and innovators. From zero-emission drivetrains and autonomous tech to interiors, software and aftersales solutions — every facet of the industry will be represented.

Vehicle manufacturers take centre stage with world premieres across all segments With 85 bus and coach builders already confirmed, Busworld Europe 2025 presents an unmatched vehicle showcase across all segments of collective passenger transport on the road: city buses, intercity and long-distance coaches, midibuses, minibuses, VIP and shuttle buses, including autonomous models and all major drivetrain technologies. After a strong wave of new launches in 2023, multiple world premieres have already been announced, and more will follow.

– CaetanoBus will unveil its first-ever battery-electric coach, marking the company’s entry into the electric long-distance segment. The coach is being developed with a major partner, whose name will be revealed in Brussels.

– Daimler Buses will present the eIntouro, its brand-new electric intercity bus, shown
to the press behind closed doors last year but now making its first public appearance.
Other highlights include the next-generation NMC4 battery in the Mercedes-Benz
eCitaro, and innovations in e-mobility, safety and sustainability. Daimler Buses will
showcase eight Mercedes-Benz and Setra vehicles at Stand 503 in Hall 5.

– IVECO BUS will present the eDaily Low Entry Minibus, a zero-emission solution for
urban transport, and the G-WAY, a 2.33-metre-wide, biomethane-compatible midibus
(available in 9.5m and 10.7m versions), ideal for narrow urban streets.
Parts, components and service suppliers gain new visibility — offline and… online
Beyond vehicles, Busworld Europe gives growing attention to the full ecosystem of
components, parts, systems and services that keep buses and coaches running. From
powertrains and HVAC systems to interiors, electronics, software and maintenance solutions— the exhibition showcases it all. This sector too will see multiple product premieres:

Eberspächer, for instance, will debut its latest thermal management innovations, including the AC138 EVO and AC135 air-conditioning units for alternative drivetrains, both using natural refrigerant propane. Their Hydro Control System and cloud-based ‘e-connected’ platform will also be presented in Hall 3.

To extend visibility beyond the show itself, Busworld is launching its new digital platform, Busworld Plaza, during the 2025 edition. This is not a replacement for physical trade shows, which remain the most powerful format for networking, business and knowledge exchange.

Rather, it is a digital bridge between editions — and a first point of contact with Busworld’s global network. Curious? Take a quick look at www.busworldplaza.org.

Busworld Congress and ZEB Conference: from policy to practice Running alongside the exhibition, Busworld Europe offers a two-day (6-7 October) Congress programme with five thematic tracks: digital mobility solutions, bus & coach safety, the future of long-distance coach travel, the socio-economic foundations of passenger transport and system management for public authorities. Participants include public transport and private operators, city mobility departments, manufacturers, suppliers and EU policymakers. All sessions are included in the Busworld entry ticket.
