Under the slogan “Busworld Loves You”, the world’s leading exhibition for the bus and coach industry — Busworld Europe — returned for its 27th edition. The event took place in Brussels from October 4 to 9, 2025, preceded by two days dedicated exclusively to the international press. After a two-year wait since the last edition, the exhibition was once again hosted at Brussels Expo, bringing with it new surprises and breaking previous records.
This year’s Busworld Europe proved to be a huge success, covering an impressive 85,000 square meters of exhibition space with 8 kilometers of aisles. Throughout the event, it welcomed 49,120 visitors from 121 countries, reaffirming its position as the most prominent event in the global bus industry. The exhibition also hosted around 350 journalists from 45 countries, emphasizing its influence and international significance in the transport sector.
A total of 560 exhibitors from 40 countries participated, including 81 bus manufacturers, showcasing 252 vehicles indoors across 8 halls, plus 32 vehicles displayed outdoors. The focus this year was on clean and sustainable mobility, with nearly all exhibitors featuring electric and hydrogen-powered buses, as well as autonomous driving technologies, particularly in the outdoor demonstration area, giving visitors hands-on experience with the latest innovations.

• VINFAST reveals its vision for electric buses:
Vietnam’s VINFAST Group, known for its electric cars, micro-mobility vehicles, and scooters, expanded further into the electric public transport sector. The company introduced two new electric city bus models — the EB8 (8 meters) and EB12 (12 meters) — as part of its broader strategy to lead in sustainable mobility solutions.
• SAIC Group launches MG-branded electric buses:
Marking the 100th anniversary of the MG brand, China’s automotive giant SAIC debuted its first MG-branded electric city bus, the iE V12, designed primarily for European markets.

The UK-based Horse Powertrain introduced the Horse M20 Hydrogen System, a retrofit solution that can be installed on existing vehicles to reduce emissions and increase driving range. The system was demonstrated on a Marcopolo Volare Attack 9 Hybrid, extending its range to 450 km with three new Range Extender systems compatible with electrical architectures up to 800 volts, enabling fast charging capabilities.
• Yutong dominates with multiple awards:
During Busworld, China’s Yutong achieved major recognition, winning several awards, including:
