The team of Geyushi Automotive Industry recently had the honor of welcoming Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly during his visit to the headquarters of the Cairo Public Transport Authority, where the company showcased its latest solutions and projects in sustainable mobility and public transportation development aimed at serving citizens.
During the visit, the Prime Minister toured Cairo’s historic districts aboard a Geyushi electric bus, which was manufactured for the Cairo Public Transport Authority as part of the plan to modernize the public transportation system and expand the use of environmentally friendly transport solutions, supporting the government’s vision for a more efficient and sustainable transportation network.
The visit also provided an opportunity for Mr. Khaled Geyushi, Chairman and Managing Director, to present the company’s latest projects and innovations, as well as its efforts to implement the policy of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who has consistently supported the localization of domestic industries and provided incentives that help the private sector strengthen local manufacturing. These efforts also promote the adoption of the latest technologies to support the transition toward sustainable green transportation.
It’s well known that, at the end of last year, Geyushi won a tender to supply 100 electric buses to the Cairo Public Transport Authority, in cooperation with the World Bank and the Ministry of Environment. The company has already successfully manufactured and delivered the prototype bus, which is currently undergoing operational testing in preparation for the start of mass production.
