Otokar, the leader of the Turkish bus market for the past 17 years, took its place at Busworld Türkiye, held at the Istanbul Expo Center. Otokar, continuing its steady growth in the European bus market, participated in the event with five models, including autonomous and electric buses.
Otokar, a member of the Koç Group which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, is participating in Busworld Türkiye 2026, taking place at the Istanbul Expo Center from June 17–19. The company is showcasing five different models—including autonomous and electric vehicles—at its booth in Hall 4, Stand F20. Visitors of Otokar booth will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the new version of the e-KENT, as well as the e-TERRITO, the autonomous e-CENTRO, the NAVIGO, and the CENTRO microbus.
DELIVERING LONG-TERM VALUE FOR FLEET OPERATORS
Kerem Erman, Head of Commercial Vehicles, noted that “Otokar buses are recognized for the long-term value they deliver to operators. Otokar is showcasing the e-TERRITO, its electric bus newly launched in the Turkish market, at Busworld Türkiye 2026. Being a zero-emission bus, the vehicle stands out with its 11, 12 and 13-meter length options, high passenger capacity, and luggage compartments, as well as its comfort and functionality. The vehicle offers high performance with an optimal range.
e-KENT
Otokar is set to showcase a new version of its e-KENT electric city bus—developed to meet user expectations—at Busworld Türkiye 2026. With spacious driver and passenger areas prioritizing public transportation needs, the vehicle also stands out for its cutting-edge technology and efficiency. Offering quieter city traffic, low operating costs, and zero emissions, the e-Kent aims to become the top choice for public transportation.
AUTONOMOUS e-CENTRO
Autonomous e-CENTRO, equipped with Level 4 autonomous driving technology, reflects Otokar’s engineering capabilities in autonomous driving technologies. All software development, testing, and implementation were carried out entirely in-house by Otokar’s skilled and dedicated teams. This enables a rapid response to on-site needs. Designed to comply with traffic regulations, the vehicle accurately identifies its location and delivers uninterrupted service throughout the day, in different weather conditions. It precisely approaches designated stops, ensuring smooth boarding and disembarkation for passengers. Having successfully passed a comprehensive testing process conducted by TÜV Rheinland in Hungary, the Autonomous e-CENTRO has been in use for passenger transportation at Mercamadrid in Madrid for nearly a year.
